Hi, my name is Almendra and this is my first post in the blog and will write about my weaknesses and strengths in english and my expectations. For start, my last course of english was many years ago, 4 years exactly, although I study in the university since 2012. Actually, I'm studying Anthropology with speciality in social anthropology and I like it because i can study the society since point of view cultural that others disciplines not study . I think that is very important to learn english because the knowledge that generate in anthropology is changing very fast and all we must be know about the topics that today invetigate about the society. For this reason I hope that in this course we can learn how talk in english with more details because my weaknesses are in this area. For me, is very difficult talk in english; isn't easy think the sentences in my head for after tells. My strengths in this area are the reading because in anthropology must be read many articles that is writing in english and where from many countries differents and I had learning for this reason or I couldn't approbate the courses. About the listening, for me is more easy that the speaking. For example, in my vacations I was in Bolivia and meet many foreigner that talk in english and I could understand very good, but couldn't talk whit them because for me is difficult think in english y create sentences.
